Our Blue Grotto half day tour takes its name from a series of sea caverns which in turn get their “blue” hue from the phosphorescent colors given off by the underwater flora in combination with the crystal clear sea water. The cave walls in turn reflect these colors and create the effect of the Blue Grotto.

Marsaxlokk
Marsaxlokk is the largest Maltese fishing village and probably the most well known fishing village in the country thanks to its prevalence in many Malta related photographs. There has been a settlement in this location since around 3000 B.C. As evidenced by the ruins of a Megalithic temple found on the site. Another attraction to the village are the traditionally painted fishing vessels which come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Birzebbuga
Birzebbuga is a quiet coastal resort located eight miles from the City of Valletta. It is a place much like any other on the island of Malta, deeply steeped in history and tradition with friendly and peaceful locals. The resort offers many historical sights to be visited which reveal and showcase the many types of individuals that inhabited the place as well as their interests such as the Feretti Coastal Battery and the Birzebbuga entrenchments.
